The PMC 6 monitor is packed with innovations and, offering the same sonic signature as the renowned larger PMC monitors, is ideal for smaller control rooms or for use in immersive systems, where its astonishing resolution allows critical mix decisions to be made with absolute confidence.

With a 20 mm excursion, the 6-inch woofer is specially designed to integrate with the latest ATL™ bass loading and Laminair™ airflow management technologies. This combination outperforms most 8-inch monitors, offering extended bass response, headroom, dynamics and reduced distortion at all levels.

High-end response is handled by a precision-built one-inch fabric soft dome tweeter. The shallow waveguide that creates a wide and balanced dispersion ensuring a coherent and accurate image.

Both the woofer and tweeter are individually and precisely controlled by a pair of ultra-low distortion, high-damping factor 200 W class-D amplifiers.

In both vertical and horizontal positions, the PMC6's sophisticated DSP engine automatically adjusts the crossover, ensuring optimal tonal accuracy, phase and imaging.

The monitor can be calibrated using controls on the rear panel or with PMC's intuitive SoundAlign™ software, accessible via a browser.

The PMC 6 can be upgraded by adding a PMC 8 SUB to create an independent, full-range PMC 6 XBD system. Activating the DSP "XBD" mode ensures the perfect marriage of the two units, creating a clean extension of low frequencies down to 25Hz.
