The Barefoot Sound MicroMain35 Gen2 inherits the same technological DNA as the larger MM12 and MM27 Gen2 models, but presents it in a compact 3-way design. It delivers the world-renowned Barefoot Sound in a package perfect for smaller control rooms and project studios.  The MM35 Gen2 retains the same basic form factor and dual 7” integral force-cancelling subwoofers as the previous incarnation, but resolution and transparency are improved with the implementation of ultra-high-quality converters, 1” ring-radiator tweeter, 5.25” extended-range neodymium motor mid-bass drivers, Hypex amplification, AES digital inputs, 1dB stepped attenuator and advanced DSP integration.

Speaker Emulation Technology
The MM35 Gen2 also adds Speaker Emulation Technology to its list of features.  Barefoot has gone to great lengths to utilize DSP processing to model the voicing characteristics and responses of classic studio nearfield monitors.  A four-position wired remote allows users to quickly switch through different voices to preview mixes on other types of speakers without having the clutter of multiple speaker systems.
Hi-Fi sweetens the high end and warms mid-range to behave much like consumer hi-fi systems.
Flat is the default voicing, offering the true Barefoot Sound.  The response is even and very revealing.
OldScl captures the essence of the ubiquitous NS10M.  The setting rolls off sub-bass and top-end information while pulling forward mid-range presence.
Cube is a nod to the “aura” of the classic full-range micro monitors of yesterday.  This is a valuable setting in the age of laptops, tablets and ear buds.
