Its reputation is built on two key achievements: faithfully recreating the analog circuits of classic drum machines in modular format, and collaborating with Buchla USA to bring the legendary Buchla 200 Series into Eurorack, making these iconic West Coast synthesis modules available to a much wider audience. Another major innovation is the TipTop Audio ART ecosystem. This open protocol goes beyond the traditional 1V/Oct standard by introducing a dedicated system for polyphonic control and precise tuning in Eurorack. The Drum Modules series is one of TipTop Audio's most influential contributions to the modular synthesis community. The BD808 and BD909 are faithful analog recreations of the legendary Roland TR-808 and TR-909 kick drum circuits, redesigned for Eurorack. The CB808, CP909 and Cymbal 909 complete the lineup with cowbell, clap and cymbal voices, allowing users to build a fully modular drum machine.
