The Clatters Machines Pocket Garden Listener is a portable generator of random control messages that exploits conductivity variations on the surface of living things. This compact device transforms these signals into MIDI notes (C-1 to C8) and CV signals (0-5V), offering a unique experience for organic and interactive sound creation.

Single-knob menu

With the single-knob control, you can configure:

• The sensitivity of the probes
• The musical scale (chromatic, major, minor, Indian and Arabic)
• The MIDI channel (1-16)
• The brightness of the LEDs

Versatile connections for studio and live performance

MIDI data is transmitted via both USB and TRS, allowing control of DAW plugins, hardware synths and eurorack modules. Triggers and 5V gates trigger with each note generated, while MIDI notes are converted to variable voltages (0-5V, 1V/oct) at CV output.
