Eurorack Clocking Modulator

ALM Busy Circuits
SKU: 146393

Eurorack Clocking Modulator

  • Programmable clocked modulation source with 8 highly customizable CV outputs, all synchronized to a BPM-based master clock
  • Clock with adjustable tempo from 10 to 303 BPM
  • High-resolution color display with an intuitive and responsive user interface
  • Clock dividers and multipliers ranging from /16384 to x192, including non-integer factors
  • Numerous waveforms: trigger, envelopes, ratchet, random, and Euclidean patterns
  • Off-grid “Flex” micro-timing for swing, human feel, and bouncing-ball effects
  • Compatible with the PPEXP1, PPEXP2, Axon-1, and Axon-2 expansion modules for additional outputs and CV inputs

ALM Busy Circuits Pamela’s PRO Workout is a compact, clocked, and programmable modulation source for your Eurorack modular system. It provides 8 highly editable outputs capable of producing a variety of control voltage signals, all correlated and synchronized to a BPM-based master clock. Each output can generate anything from simple clocked triggers to complex rhythmic waveforms, quantized melodic patterns, or random chaos, with numerous parameters controllable directly or via assigned external CV.

From the Original Pamela’s Workout to the New PRO Generation

Built upon the legacy of the original Pamela’s Workout and Pamela’s NEW Workout, this advanced PRO version retains the form factor and intuitive workflow of its predecessors while adding numerous new features: updated hardware, more CV inputs, a new high-resolution color display, and software rewritten from scratch, featuring enhanced visual feedback and improvements such as new waveforms, fine-grid micro-timing, and cross-output modulations.

PPEXP1, PPEXP2, Axon-1, and Axon-2 Expansion Modules

Optional expansion modules are available for Pamela’s PRO Workout. The PPEXP1 adds fixed clocked gate outputs plus MIDI and DIN Sync outputs. The PPEXP2 offers dedicated MIDI and DIN Sync outputs for synchronizing non-Eurorack gear in a more compact form factor. The Axon-1 and Axon-2 expanders, on the other hand, add 4 additional CV inputs, allowing for even deeper control over all available parameters.

Advanced Pattern Creation: Euclidean Patterns, Probabilities, and Rhythmic Loops

Pamela’s PRO Workout offers extensive management of Euclidean patterns, probabilities, and beat-based loops for rhythmic creation, as well as cross-output modulation between the various outputs. Each output features independent controls for level, offset, phase, and waveform slew, while all output parameters are assignable to up to 4 built-in CV inputs, each with dedicated offset, attenuation, and monitoring.

Instant Saving and USB-C Connectivity

Each output and group can be instantly saved and recalled across 7 banks (56 slots), with all settings retained between power cycles. The USB-C connection enables quick firmware updates via simple drag-and-drop from a computer. The module is skiff-friendly, features reverse polarity protection, and is also available in a virtualized version as a software module for VCV Rack.
