u-he ACE (Any Cable Everywhere) is a semi-modular virtual synthesizer that combines power and accessibility. Designed for those who want to enter the world of modular synthesis, it offers a selection of essential modules with unlimited patching possibilities. Thanks to its predefined routing, it is immediately ready to use, but each connection can be customized to create complex and unique patches.

Powerful analog oscillators and filters

ACE includes two oscillators modeled on analog circuits, complete with internal modulations such as PWM, ring modulation, sync and FM. Complex sounds can be generated by combining the two VCOs with sub-oscillators and wide-range LFOs, capable of operating even at audio frequencies. Multi-mode filters inspired by classic hardware offer a full, organic sound, with the possibility of overdrive and self-oscillation.

Creative modulations and advanced tools

In addition to classic ADSRs, ACE offers a DAW-synchronizable ramp generator, a programmable mapping generator with up to 128 custom values, and two multiplex modules for complex modulations (AM, RM, crossfade). With a completely free matrix between audio and control signals, the sound design possibilities are virtually unlimited.

Effects, scalable interface and professional presets

ACE integrates stereo effects such as delay, chorus, phaser and a simple two-band EQ. The interface is scalable from 70% to 200% to fit any setup. More than 920 presets are included, ready for use in any style of music, from ambient to techno.

Compatibility and Technical Requirements

ACE is compatible with macOS (10.10+), Windows (7+) and Linux. It supports AUv2, VST2/3, CLAP and AAX 64-bit formats. It requires a modern CPU to take full advantage of its modular architecture and analog modeling quality.
