The Chandler Limited RS124 Compressor is a modern reconstruction of one of the most desired tube compressors ever: the legendary EMI/Abbey Road RS124. Born in 1960 inside the workshops of Abbey Road Studios, the RS124 made history in music production, leaving an indelible imprint on the records of the Beatles and other giants of the era.

A design inspired by the historic originals

Based on three original RS124 units still in operation at Abbey Road (ser. No 60070B, 60050A, and 61010B), this modern version repurposes all the original sonic characteristics while incorporating modern features such as adjustable attack, SuperFuse mode, and selectable output impedance.

A tube compressor without compromise

Its ability to control transients while keeping the musicality of the signal intact has made the RS124 a reference for engineers and producers. Today, thanks to Chandler Limited, this legend is available for every modern studio.
