Herbs and Stones Mousse is a two-voice desktop groovebox designed to create soundscapes, complex rhythms and irregular basslines. With its semi-modular architecture and wide connectivity, it is an extremely versatile tool in both studio and live performance.
Mousse allows you to build custom patches via 40 Eurorack-compatible minijack format connection points. All inputs are protected and work in the 0-5V range, ensuring maximum security and integration with other modules and external instruments.
The two independent sequencers offer advanced control over gate, pitch and modulations. With functions such as variable step, rotation, random mode and CV-controllable slew limiter, dynamic and ever-changing sequences can be generated.
The clock section handles global timing with the possibility of external synchronization and modulation via CV. This allows tempo variations, unstable grooves and complex rhythmic patterns perfect for experimental electronic music.
Two advanced LFOs, including one with random behavior and one with waveform morphing, enable both cyclic and generative modulations. The two envelope generators offer additional dynamic shaping possibilities, including inversion via gates.
The two integrated voices combine digital generators with analog VCA and VCF. Voice A uses time manipulation-based synthesis with FM-like characteristics, while Voice B offers a subtractive approach with variable waveforms and noise blend. Both voices have extensive CV controls for detailed sound modeling.
Separate outputs are available for the two voices as well as a mix output, facilitating integration with external mixers and processing systems. The modular design allows for extremely flexible routing.
