The Joranalogue Walk 4 is a quadruple analog accumulator that enables the creation of complex, random or controlled stepped waveforms, ideal for organic modulations, unpredictable sequences and CV transformations. Based on a "CV battery" concept, each channel accumulates or discharges voltage in response to a trigger, with increments adjusted by shared parameters or external signals.
The Trend parameter defines the direction of growth or decrease common to all accumulators. Volatility introduces randomness controlled by white noise generators, while Constrain limits the excursion of voltages, maintaining control over module behavior. The result? A powerful tool for generating evolutionary CVs, random patterns, polyphonic arpeggiators or subharmonic generators.
Each accumulator has independent inputs for value and trigger, as well as an automatic reset or one that can be driven via external trigger. The built-in clock covers a wide range and supports 1V/Oct tracking, making the Walk 4 also an excellent master clock. The Add input allows an external signal to be added to all outputs, further expanding the patching possibilities.
