The Neve 8424 is an analog console designed to deliver the classic Neve® 80 series sound in a compact format, ideal for modern recording studios. With Marinair® transformers, it delivers rich, three-dimensional and detailed sound quality, perfect for professional mixing and tracking.

DAW integration and advanced signal routing.

Designed for a hybrid workflow, the 8424 offers separate inputs for DAW and recording, with precise level control via digital management. Intelligent routing makes it easy to handle complex signals with 24 balanced inserts, three mono aux, and an advanced matrix for groups and mixes.

Total flexibility for mix and production

The ability to mix up to 48 mono signals simultaneously makes this console extremely versatile. The mix bus with Marinair® transformers ensures high headroom and authentic analog summing while maintaining sound integrity and depth.

Neve 1073 preamplifiers and professional recording

The console integrates two independent Neve 1073® preamplifiers, ideal for high-quality recordings. The smart routing system allows quick configurations for tracking and overdubbing, while class-A DI inputs allow direct recording of instruments.

Expandability with 500 series modules

With dedicated 500 series slots, you can expand the console with analog processors and external preamplifiers, increasing creative possibilities and adapting to any production need.

Professional monitoring and total control

The monitoring section offers three stereo speaker outputs with adjustable trim, 85dB SPL calibration, dim and mono sum functions. The two independent headphone outputs facilitate collaborative work between artist and producer.

Precise metering and mix management

PPM and VU system enables accurate level control, while group outputs and effect connections provide complete mix management and integration with external outboard.

Streamlined workflow with recall system

The built-in snapshot system allows you to quickly save and recall console settings, improving efficiency in work sessions. The OPX connection also enables remote control of Neve 1073OPX units, further expanding the system's capabilities.
