Active nearfield 3-way transmission line studio monitor with ATL™ technology.

The PMC 6-2 delivers main-monitor depth and dynamics and allows you to make mixing decisions quickly, with absolute certainty and without fatigue.

This 3-way active monitor speaker combines two custom-built 6-inch ultra-long-throw woofers with our carefully designed 2-inch PMC 55 soft-dome midrange unit and a precision-built 1-inch soft-dome tweeter.

The PMC 55's characteristic "N-Compass" waveguide enhances the driver's wide dispersion and remarkable midrange projection; combined with the tweeter's high performance, the result is an ultra-wide, stable image with a smooth, natural response in the room.

Each woofer is individually powered by a state-of-the-art 400 W Class D amplifier and is perfectly complemented by our sophisticated and accurate DSP-based crossovers. As with the PMC 6, the PMC 6-2 monitor can be configured using rear panel controls or SoundAlign™ software, with comprehensive boundary and equalization options.

The PMC 6-2 offers an amazing size/performance ratio thanks to ATL™ bass-loading technology, which results in exceptional low frequency extension and consistent tonal balance at all listening levels.

Our Laminair™ airflow technology, visible in the monitor's hexagonal vents, further reduces coloration and improves dynamics and efficiency.

A simple upgrade path converts the PMC 6-2 into a full-range XBD system; simply add a PMC 8.2 SUB and select XBD mode to seamlessly merge the two units, extending the response up to 25Hz with increased headroom.
