Trinnov Ethercon 3D Measurement Microphone is a professional measurement microphone designed to ensure the highest accuracy in Trinnov acoustic calibration systems. With its Ethercon connection and seamless integration with D-MON and NOVA processors, it is an essential tool for achieving accurate and reliable monitoring.
The microphone is designed to offer extremely precise measurements of room acoustic response, a key element in optimizing any monitoring system. It can analyze not only frequency response, but also the spatial position of speakers and early reflections.
The four microphone capsules arranged in a tetrahedral configuration enable the capture of detailed three-dimensional information. Each capsule is individually calibrated with a tolerance of ±0.1 dB, ensuring extremely reliable results.
By analyzing the arrival times of sound waves on the different capsules, the system is able to precisely triangulate the location of each speaker. This enables the creation of a complete three-dimensional map of the listening environment.
The data collected is used by Trinnov's proprietary technology to correct the sound scene through remapping, creating accurate audio images even in acoustically less than ideal environments.
