The Apogee Symphony I/O MkII 16X16SE PTHD audio interface configuration includes a chassis with a PTHD plus card and an installed 16X16 I/O module.

Symphony I/O Mk II PTHD chassis has several features, including 2 slots for housing I/O modules, a Primary Port connector for connecting directly to Pro Tools HD/HDX Mac and PC systems, Word Clock In and Out connectors , Loop In and Out, USB AUX for firmware update, a headphone output with a 1/4″ jack, a multifunctional control knob and a large touchscreen display to adjust each parameter of the device. The chassis power supply is 110-240/50-60Hz and occupies 2 rack units.

The 16X16SE I/O module features 16 balanced analog inputs and 16 outputs with 4 D-SUB 25 connectors, coaxial inputs and outputs for 2 SPDIF channels at 192 KHz. Please check the minimum system requirements and currently supported Mac operating systems on the manufacturer’s website.

The PTHD card can be added to Symphony I/O Mk II Thunderbolt to provide connectivity with Pro Tools HD. If needed, Dante connectivity can also be added by installing the optional Dante Brooklyn module.
