Project Lead designs and assembles professional workstations for Audio, Video, Streaming, Gaming and any creative application. Since 1985 to date they have built and sold over 5,000 workstations, supporting some of the most important Italian manufacturers.
Their philosophy is that of "digital lutherie": to create machines that are not only powerful, but reliable, stable and ready to use like real musical instruments, right from the first power-up. The goal is to minimize the commitment of the end user, who must be able to concentrate only on producing and creating.
Each workstation is born from a rigorous three-step process: research, design and testing. Component selection is meticulous and based on real-world experience and compatibility; design aims for perfect harmonization between hardware and software to achieve high performance, quiet operation, and reliability over time.
The testing phase is crucial: each component is stressed for at least 48 hours, followed by an additional 48 hours of testing on the assembled system, up to testing under real operating conditions, to ensure maximum reliability of each workstation.
One distinguishing point issoftware optimization: by fine-tuning the operating system (Windows) with numerous targeted interventions, Project Lead workstations can offer up to 30 percent better performance than PCs with equivalent hardware, without resorting to extreme choices that reduce system life. The result is a concrete balance of performance, stability, compatibility and security, even with Internet-connected use.
Project Lead also supports the user in the choice: from consulting to find the ideal configuration, to customizing to integrate the workstation into existing setups or built from scratch. What's more, their green and upgrade policy incentivizes upgrading the machines (all upgradeable) over time, reducing waste and protecting the initial investment.
Behind Project Lead are musicians, producers, and sound engineers-people who experience the professional use of these tools every day and test components, software, and plug-ins with a real-world, studio and lab approach.
