4MS PEG: Pingable Envelope Generator Eurorack

The 4MS PEG - Pingable Envelope Gener ator is a two-channel digital Eurorack module designed to generate envelopes perfectly synchronized with the system clock. This used unit represents one of the most versatile solutions for creating dynamic, rhythmic and synchronized modulations within a modular system.

The PEG uses a ping-based synchronization system: the duration of the envelope is determined by the interval between two trigger pulses or by a manual tap tempo input, allowing modulations to be easily aligned to the patch or sequence tempo.

Synchronized envelopes and rhythmic modulations.

Thanks to the ping system, envelopes can be divided up to 1/8th of the reference tempo or multiplied via the dedicated control, with the possibility of modulation via CV. This allows the creation of complex modulation patterns perfectly synchronized with external clocks, sequencers or trigger generators.

Skew and Curves with CV control

The Skew control allows you to change the ratio between attack and decay of the envelope, while the Curve control allows you to switch between exponential and linear or logarithmic curves. Both parameters are controllable via CV, making PEG extremely flexible in modulation patches.

Cycle modes and trigger outputs

Each channel can be set to Cycle Mode, turning the envelope into a synchronizable LFO. The module also has EOR (End of Rise) and EOF (End of Fall) trigger outputs, useful for creating event chains and generating additional modulations within the Eurorack system.

Compact Eurorack module for modular systems

With a width of 20 HP and a depth of only 26 mm, the 4MS PEG integrates easily into most Eurorack cases. Dual independent channels and extensive modulation possibilities make it an extremely powerful tool for sound design, rhythm generation, and synchronized modulations.
