AtoV cLFO Black: Complex dual LFO for advanced Eurorack modulation

The AtoV cLFO Black is a Eurorack module designed for those who want to push modulation far beyond the capabilities of a traditional LFO. Thanks to two fully voltage-controlled LFOs capable of intermodulating with each other and integrated with a ring modulator, it offers an ideal creative environment for sound designers, electronic musicians, and modular system users seeking constantly dynamic and evolving modulation.

Two Intermodulated LFOs with Integrated Ring Modulator

At the heart of the module are two low-frequency oscillators equipped with Triangle, Saw, and Square outputs. The Triangle signal from the first LFO is normalized to the CV input of the second LFO via a dedicated attenuator, allowing you to easily achieve cross-modulation without the need for additional patches.

The integration of the Ring Modulator further expands creative possibilities, bringing techniques typically used for audio processing into the realm of modulation. The result is rhythmic modulations rich in movement—unpredictable yet always controllable.

Continuous wave shaping and organic modulations

The cLFO allows you to create continuously variable waveforms, exponential curves, “bouncing ball” effects, complex stereo modulations, and numerous other timbral variations. It is an ideal tool for creating dynamic patches, constantly evolving textures, and organic movements within any Eurorack system.

Extremely wide frequency range

One of the module’s strengths is its enormous operating range. Via manual control, the speed can vary from one cycle every two minutes up to approximately 20 Hz, while using CV control, the range extends from one cycle every 13 hours up to approximately 400 Hz. This flexibility allows the module to be used both as an extremely slow LFO and as a true oscillator in certain applications.

V/Oct Tracking for Experimental Applications

Support for V/Oct tracking opens up further possibilities for use, allowing the cLFO to integrate seamlessly into experimental, generative, and audio-rate patches, significantly expanding its range of applications compared to classic modulation modules.
