The Bettermaker Stereo Passive Equalizer (SPE) is the ideal solution for sound professionals who want the musicality of classic passive equalizers with the flexibility of digital control. Thanks to its 100% analog signal path, the sound retains all its richness and depth, while parameter management via DAW allows complex automations, instant recall, and a modern workflow.

Digital control and automation via dedicated plugin

Through the USB connection, the Bettermaker SPE integrates seamlessly with any DAW, appearing as an HID device. The dedicated plugin allows programming of up to 32 snapshots, which can be automatically recalled during mix or mastering sessions. This makes it easy to switch between different tracks with the speed of a native plugin.

Build quality and sonic flexibility

Every component of the SPE is selected to ensure mastering-level audio response: matched inductors and capacitors, precise controls, and exceptional frequency extension. The hi-boost section offers air bands up to 28 kHz, while the adjustable output control (+/- 8dB) ensures perfect level balance.

Stereo linked equalization with one control

The stereo link mode allows both channels to be operated in a perfectly synchronized manner with a single control-ideal for consistency in mastering processing.
