The kit includes a selected pair of 4061 omnidirectional microphones with sensitivity tolerance within ±1.5 dB, ensuring perfect consistency between the two channels for natural, balanced stereo recordings.

Using CORE+ technology, these microphones offer extremely clean sound with significantly reduced distortion and increased dynamic range. The kit includes the BLM6000 Boundary Layer Mount, a stand designed to place microphones on reflective surfaces such as floors, walls, ceilings or the lid of a piano.

This configuration allows the microphones to work in the so-called pressure zone, improving sensitivity, clarity and signal intelligibility compared to recordings made in free field. The result is a more defined and controlled ambient shot, ideal for acoustic ensembles, ambient recording and theater applications.

Professional accessories for mounting on instruments

Accessories included in the kit include the DMM0007 Universal Surface Mount, a universal mount that allows the microphone to be attached to many musical instruments.

Thanks to special non-invasive adhesives, the microphone can be mounted on acoustic guitars, pianos, percussion instruments, and many other instruments without leaving any residue. This makes it easy to locate the optimal shooting position while maintaining a clean and unobtrusive setup.
