Erica Synths Bullfrog Highpass VCF Voice Card is an expansion card that expands the sound treatment possibilities of the Bullfrog by introducing a dedicated Highpass filter. This Voice Card allows new sounds to be explored through the combination of the highpass filter and the internal lowpass filter, allowing bandpass type configurations as well.

Built-in Highpass Filter for more versatility

The card adds a Highpass VCF complete with traditional controls: Cutoff Frequency, Resonance and CV Level. The signal from the internal mixer is routed to the Highpass filter and then to the Bullfrog's onboard Lowpass filter before reaching the VCA. This series routing allows for more complex filtering effects and sculpts the sound more precisely.

CV source selection for dynamic modulations

The CV Source selector allows you to choose between three modulation sources: Envelope Generator 2, Sample & Hold or LFO (pulsewave from the S&H module). This provides dynamic control over filter behavior and makes the patch more expressive.

Maximum flexibility in patching

The Voice Card does not include pre-configured CV connections for the Bullfrog, leaving the user the freedom to accomplish patching manually. This approach encourages active learning and greater understanding of signal routing.
