Neumann KH 120 II W: the nearfield reference, now even more advanced

The Neumann KH 120 II W retains the principles that made the KH 120 famous, but has been redesigned from top to bottom to improve every parameter: deeper bass extension, higher SPL capability, and even greater linearity. The white finish also makes it ideal for studios and directorates where aesthetics and room integration matter as much as performance.

DSP and linear phase for more reliable mix decisions

Electronics with built-in DSP enable linear phase crossovers and optimized phase response (120 Hz - 16 kHz, ±45°) with latency of less than 2.6 ms. This results in more consistent listening and better translation of mixes, especially on transients, panorama and depth.

Automatic calibration with MA 1: the monitor adapts to the room

In conjunction with the Neumann MA 1 Automatic Alignment system, the KH 120 II can optimize frequency response according to the room and listening point. An effective solution for improving tonal balance and low-end reading, reducing the impact of typical issues in less-than-perfectly treated rooms.

MMD™, MDF cabinet and ultra-clear stereo imaging

The Bass Reflex cabinet is now made of MDF, a rigid and sustainable material, and adopts Mathematically Modelled Dispersion™ (MMD™) waveguide for controlled dispersion. Extremely tight tolerances (±0.5 dB) contribute to a stable, accurate and richly detailed stereophonic image.

Connections and applications

The KH 120 II W offers XLR analog and S/PDIF digital (RCA) input. It is perfect for recording, post-production, broadcast and music production, and can be combined with other speakers in the KH line to create surround or immersive setups.
