Analog stereo compression with Dynamic Link technology

The Gemini version of the _MIMAS consists of two units perfectly calibrated to operate as a true stereo compressor. Dynamic Link technology dynamically adjusts the level of the sidechain signal via a dedicated potentiometer, automatically compensating for any tolerances in the analog components. This ensures perfect consistency between the two channels and maintains a stable stereo image, preventing any drift between channels.

The system can also connect compression detectors via the internal 500 series connector, ensuring true stereo compression and smooth response on both channels.

WesAudio MIMAS Gemini: Digital Control and Total Recall

One of the strengths of the WesAudio _MIMAS Gemini is the seamless integration of analog hardware and digital workflow. The compressor supports Total Recall, allowing settings to be saved and recalled directly within the DAW session. Using the SC LINK button, it is possible to switch between True Stereo compression, which is ideal for stereo buses and mastering, and Dual Mono mode, which allows two independent channels to be treated while still keeping the parameters synchronized.

The FET circuit offers classic 4:1, 8:1, 12:1 and 20:1 compression ratios, as well as the legendary "All Buttons In" mode , famous for its aggressive and musical character. Carnhill transformers further contribute to sound quality, adding depth, warmth and three-dimensionality to the audio signal.
