The UA LA-6176 Signature Channel Strip combines three classic Universal Audio components into one virtual processor: the UA 610 tube preamp, the FET 1176 compressor, and the legendary LA-2A. This channel strip is the software equivalent of the famous hardware 6176, used by artists such as Adele, Coldplay, and Pharrell.

From warm clean to harmonic saturation with one switch

The UA 610 preamplifier delivers a harmonically rich tube sound, perfect for giving presence and depth to vocals and instruments. The compressor can be set to 1176 for a firm punch or to LA-2A for a softer, more musical compression, all in real time via Apollo interfaces thanks to Unison technology.
