Additional send/return effects expander for the MEGA-TANG mixer
The ALM Busy Circuits MEGA-TANG Expander 2, model MT-EX2, is the expansion module that adds a second effects send with return to the MEGA-TANG mixer, available for all channels. In just 4 HP, you double your mix’s processing possibilities: one send for reverb, the other for delay, or two different effects chains that can be adjusted channel by channel.
The MEGA-TANG already features a mono effects send with stereo return. The MT-EX2 adds a second one with the same architecture: mono send and stereo return, so the effect feeds back into the mix while maintaining the stereo image. Each mixer channel can be routed to both paths to build multi-layered spaces and textures.
With two independent sends, you can separate ambient effects from creative ones, feed two modules such as ALM’s MFX or a dedicated reverb, or create more complex parallel effects without sacrificing mixer channels. A compact solution that remains consistent with the MEGA-TANG’s intuitive, live-performance-oriented layout.
The MEGA-TANG supports only one expander at a time: choose the MT-EX2 if you need a second effects path, or the MT-EX1 if you need additional inputs.
