Adamsynths Warthog: Total Recall Modular Synth

Adamsynths: the Eurorack analogue modular synth with Total Recall

Adamsynths is the independent brand behind Warthog, the first analogue modular synthesizer in Eurorack format able to save and recall an entire patch: every potentiometer's position, every switch's state, and even the cable connections. At Milk Audio Store you'll find the complete system and every individual module.

Who is Adamsynths

Adamsynths was born from Adam Miski's passion for modular sound: musician, composer, sound experimenter and electronic engineer. The brand, of Hungarian origin, has a precise vision: to overcome the historic limit of analogue systems — the impossibility of finding a sound again once a patch has been pulled apart. The answer is Total Recall technology, which lets improvisation and structured composition coexist without losing anything you've created.

The Warthog was unveiled at Superbooth 2025 in Berlin and shown in Italy at Roma Modulare 2026, drawing the attention of the international specialist press.

Warthog: the modular synth that remembers

The Adamsynths Warthog Full System is neither a digital platform nor a virtual modular: the sound engine is 100% analogue, in Eurorack format, plug & play. Unlike any other modular system, Warthog stores parameters, module configurations, snapshots and the entire routing of audio, CV and gate signals. You can return to a patch, recreate it, develop it and use it live with the certainty of finding it exactly as you left it.

Thanks to the W2W (Warthog to Warthog) function, patches can be shared online with other Warthog users: presets, snapshots and routing configurations export as files, ready to be archived, exchanged or reloaded onto another system. Rounding out the picture are DAW integration, MIDI and USB MIDI control, and the desktop editor.

The Warthog system modules

Every Adamsynths module can be bought separately, to expand or reconfigure your system.

Central Unit + power supply + rail — the brain of the system and the heart of Total Recall: patch saving and recall, snapshot management, MIDI-CV conversion and a 2.8" touchscreen display, together with the ASR-PSU power supply and the ASR-RAILS bus.
Mood Wheels — two large wooden control wheels for real-time morphing between snapshots, designed for expressive performance.
Oscillator — through-zero analogue VCO with a sawtooth core, high stability, DC-coupled outputs, a 10-octave range, and the ability to work as an LFO too, with built-in sub oscillator and CV mixer.
Multimode VCF VCA — multimode filter and VCA in a single module: 4- and 2-pole low-pass, 2-pole band-pass and high-pass, adjustable Q-compensation, built-in mixer and overdrive.
Dual VC ENV — dual envelope generator, ADSR and DADSR, CV-controllable, in gated or triggered mode for legato or staccato phrasing.
Modulation Tools — everything you need for modulation: Sync LFO, white noise generator, Sample & Hold, VC Glide, VCA and Inverter usable as a Ring Modulator.
Matrix 428 — routing matrix with 4 inputs and 8 outputs for audio, CV and gate signals: change the connections within a patch via snapshot, without moving a single cable.
Mixbooth — two-channel analogue stereo mixer with two AUX sends, two stereo returns, main output and headphones.
Multiples 16 — passive multiple with 4 inputs and 12 outputs, intelligently distributing signals based on connected inputs.
Outboard — rear connection interface for Mixbooth and Central Unit: main and headphone outputs, AUX and outside connections, without cluttering the front panel.

A cabinet open to the Eurorack world

The Adamsynths Cabinet houses the ASR-RAILS bus and the ASR-PSU power supply, essential for letting the modules communicate and storing their state. That's why Warthog modules need their own dedicated Eurorack case, which in turn powers standard Eurorack modules from other manufacturers without issue: total memory and creative freedom in the same system.

Whether you work in the studio or on stage, Adamsynths modular synthesizers combine the character of analogue sound with the precision of a system that never forgets. Discover the Warthog and every Adamsynths Total Recall module at Milk Audio Store to build your own system.
